McCarthy fires a couple of yards wide of Begovic's post from the left wing there after cutting in field
The home crowd is quiet so far this afternoon, the Stokies of course are in full voice. Let's hope we can continue to keep them quiet as well!
Distin has to be alert there to thwart Crouch after an intricate passing move from Stoke almost sees us unlock the door then! It was Nzonzi who squares following some great work from Oussama Assaidi

That was a tweet from earlier, he's not on his phone during the game don't worry!

Apologies for the delay in our coverage as we are experiencing severe technical difficulties here at Goodison Park
MH: The Liverpool derby was a great game and I enjoyed it as a neutral. We've played well away from home and we certainly won't be going with any apprehension.
MH: The midfield three did really well and we'll see what we do for Saturday. Stephen Ireland is very much in our thoughts and has played really well but you have to be fair to other people too. I've not made the decision what to do yet.
MH: It was a good performance all around against Sunderland. I was really pleased with it as a whole and there were good performances individually too.
MH: You hope the safeguarding in the game can catch people out when it comes to match fixing. It is a worry for everyone though.
MH: We've got good players who can come in [for Huth and Arnautovic]. I've got good options and we have to ensure that Everton work hard for everything that they get.
MH: Lukaku is playing exceptionally well as he did last year. He's playing week in, week out and he's a big threat. He's certainly one we'll have to deal with but they have threats in all areas.
MH: When you have disruption in the back four it can be a worry, but they've got good players to come in and replace Baines, internationals, so they'll look strong
MH: Kenwyne Jones had an issue with his shoulder but he trained yesterday and if he has to have strapping on it he will.
